NSW budget reveals $37 million for Business Connect successor
The NSW budget has committed $37 million to a small business advisory program to replace Business Connect after the service was axed in 2025.
The NSW government has committed $37 million to a new small business advisory program to succeed Business Connect, almost a year after it quietly axed the free support service.
The funding is listed in the 2026–27 NSW budget papers under business and jobs, alongside other measures including workers’ compensation reforms, investment project support and local manufacturing initiatives.
