ChatGPT down? OpenAI confirms “partial outage” as error reports grow
ChatGPT appears to be facing technical difficulties, with users and OpenAI itself reporting problems with more than a dozen key functions.
OpenAI says ChatGPT services affected by a Wednesday morning outage have “fully recovered”, ending a forty-minute disruption to key AI functions.
Earlier, OpenAI had confirmed “elevated errors” and a “partial outage” affecting ChatGPT, beginning at 9.57am AEST.
“We are investigating login issues and intermittent errors affecting ChatGPT,” the status website said at the time.
Errors affected conversations, image generation, file uploads, some APIs, and Codex within ChatGPT desktop, according to OpenAI.
