Fair Work Commission blamed AI for workload surge. An FOI reveals a different story
The government wants to reform a workplace relations law in part to stop artificial intelligence-boosted claims from clogging up the Fair Work Commission (FWC). However, documents released under FOI cast doubt over whether any evidence of such a problem actually exists.
The new bill, called Building Cooperative Workplaces, was introduced earlier this month and is expected to pass the House on Monday without going through a Senate committee and after only limited debate, The Australian Financial Review reported.
