A massive lot of luxury watches owned by an unnamed Australian tech tycoon is going to auction, as a growing number of local entrepreneurs turn their focus on high-end timepieces.
Under the instructions of an “Australian tech founder”, First State is hosting a 28-item auction, featuring watches from brands like Rolex, Richard Mille, Cartier, and Audemars Piguet.
The auction house describes the catalogue as “Australia’s most important collection of Swiss watches”.
Failing that, it might be the most eye-catching.
