“Rare business”: Gina Rinehart bets $1.4 billion on SpaceX
Referring to SpaceX and Tesla, Australia’s richest woman noted Musk had built two of the world’s 10-most valuable companies by market capitalisation.
Gina Rinehart’s Hancock Prospecting has snared a huge stake in Elon Musk’s SpaceX during its out-of-this-world initial public offering.
The company did not specify the amount it invested, but Rinehart said it was a “significant investment for Hancock” and the company was pleased to get an allotment during the oversubscribed IPO.
