Books Kinokuniya heads to Melbourne as retailers double down on in-store experiences
Japanese bookseller Books Kinokuniya will open its first Melbourne store next month, marking the company’s expansion into Victoria as part of Melbourne Central’s $170 million redevelopment and adding another destination retailer to the CBD shopping precinct.
The new store, expected to open by the end of August, will be located at Melbourne Central and forms part of the shopping centre’s largest expansion in more than 20 years.
