Oz Hair & Beauty snaps up Beauty Works to grow service-led retail strategy

Oz Hair & Beauty has acquired Melbourne retailer Beauty Works in a deal that expands its national footprint and deepens its push into service-led retail.

Australian omni-channel retailer Oz Hair & Beauty has acquired Melbourne-based Beauty Works for an undisclosed sum.

The deal, which took effect at the start of July, includes Beauty Works’ store in Melbourne Central and its e-commerce business.

Beauty Works also has a second salon in the South Melbourne Market, and according to its website, the retailer stocks more than 110 global brands specialising in hair, scalp, skin, and beauty products, with supporting salon and spa services.
