‘The start, not the finish line’: Harris Farm Markets joins growing list of B Corp certified businesses

Harris Farm Markets has become a certified B Corp after a year-long process, saying the accreditation reflects its longstanding commitment to sustainability, transparency and supporting suppliers.

When the family behind Harris Farm Markets came across the idea of B Corp certification a decade ago, it seemed out of reach.

“We did our numbers on the B Corp, and it was like, ‘Oh my God, we’re never going to get this’,” co-CEO Luke Harris recalls.

However, he and his brothers revisited the possibility of the certification post-Covid, believing it would help define what sets the Australian grocery retailer apart.
